Tips to be a good businessman
Passion and Trust
A successful businessman loves what he does. Whether you like what your business does or just the idea itself does not matter, a good entrepreneur should enjoy and feel satisfied with his work. You must feel that you are confirming your strengths and helping to improve your weaknesses.
Organization and dedication
Owning your own business is something more than marketing a great product or service. It is also about the small details; Legal paperwork, hiring employees, finding someone to clean the office and create bills. For this reason, you have to consider that the goal of your business takes time for everything, even minutiae that seem unimportant.
Communication and competitiveness
Successful entrepreneurs are good communicators, if they are talking to employees, customers or representatives of a bank that could give them a loan. To successfully start a business, you need to know how to communicate effectively in a variety of situations. For example, you should know how and when to promote your business, as well as understand how to motivate employees
Creativity and innovation
Entrepreneurs are successful because they know how to provide products or services that customers need and are not currently available. To do this, you must be creative and innovative, never be satisfied with the status quo. While your idea might be similar to someone else's, you must be prepared to make it stand out. You must provide something that the product of the other person or service does not include. For example, if you want to start a bakery in a small town with a supermarket that has a bakery, you may want to offer breads and special cakes that the supermarket does not have.
Concentration and balance
As an entrepreneur who starts a small business, it will be easy for you to catch up quickly in all aspects of your business, such as making sure the floors are clean to ensure that the products come out as planned. While you may have to devote your attention to these things when your business is new, when you grow up, you must learn to delegate work and concentrate on the problems that only you can handle.

The seven elements of the Harvard method
Fisher, Ury and Patto, established 7 elements of the process that intervene and relate to each other, which provide an important analytical and conceptual framework for obtaining win-win agreements, the main objective of this method: interests, alternatives, Options, legitimate criteria, commitment, communication and relationship
1. Alternatives to non-agreement
Not all negotiations end with an agreement. Or the agreement is reached precipitated by the pressure exerted by the other party: "Take it or leave it." We must have well prepared what happens if I leave it. What are my alternatives and theirs?
2. Interests and positions
Interest is everything that we cannot exchange with the other parties.
And the positions is the attitude you have about the topic to negotiate.
One example would be: in the construction industry, when we want to buy a material but we are in the stretch and the loosen in the price, in that we offer one to a lower price but also to lower quality, so the dilemma is to choose between one of the two materials
It is easy to confuse the objectives to the negotiating issues with the interests.
3. Options
Identify the full range of possibilities where the parties could reach an agreement and satisfy their interests.
A deal is better if you incorporate the best of many options.
Basic points to generate options:
To know very well the processes of creating value, to claim value and the choice of REC. Create.
Separate the process of inventing and generate ideas of decision. Carry out brainstorming sessions with both parties ' negotiating teams.
The best values are in the differences. For example, attitude towards risk, temporal cadence, perceptions, marginal value of the same thing.
4. Criteria
The criteria must be perfectly delineated so that the agreement to be reached should be prudent and fair for both sides.
It is important to us that the other side has the feeling that we have ' won ', even if that is not true and we have achieved our goals. This exercise will also help to discover new interests and useful options for negotiation.
5. Relationship
The most important negotiations are made with the people or institutions with whom we have negotiated before and will negotiate again.
For a good relationship you should not mix personal relationship problems with essential negotiation problems.
6. Communication
The way it is used to communicate has a critical impact on the outcome of the negotiation, especially when the two parties are not known ' the benefit can be much greater for both when negotiating face-to-face because only in this way it is possible to share Vital information.
If the volume of the transactions to be made is important, it is worth to go to know personally the person with whom we will then have to negotiate by telephone or e-mail. We have found that if both sides have a positive personal knowledge in common, then the method of communication (telephone, e-mail, etc.) must be important for the good result. If negotiators, on the contrary do not know each other or are strangers, the medium becomes critical and makes a difference.
Trust and contribution are set much more easily when the parties are known, which would be impossible to do by phone or e-mail among strangers.
7. Commitments
Commitments are verbal or written approaches that specify what a party will do or will not do. We could call them the ' draft of the contract '. They can be done in the course of a negotiation. In general, an agreement will be better to the extent that promises have had: approach, structuring and have been designed to become durable, easy-to-understand and verifiable agreements.
William Ury, one of the forerunners of the "Harvard Method of negotiation"
Interest-based negotiation is part of the idea that the interests of both parties can be satisfied so that everyone wins. Here's the magic: it's about finding outputs that make a mutual gain: a win-win result. This result can only occur when the parties collaborate and cease to be seen as adversaries.
Let us see as an example the nuclear missile crisis in Cuba in the year 1962. Kennedy got the Russians to take the missiles they had sent to Cuba, which was not known until recently that the Russians managed to get the Americans to remove the nuclear missiles they had installed in Turkey. Thus we see how both sides achieved their main shared goal (avoid a global nuclear contest) and also other own targets like eliminating the missiles in areas near each country. The Americans also got the Russians not to divulge the withdrawal of the missiles in Turkey whereupon Kennedy did not seem to do.

ABOUT ME
I'm an international business student at the University of Santo Tomas. I would like in the future to create my own company and be able to travel the world doing business which help many people, I would like to be a great entrepreneur as Stive Jobs.
My name is Carlos Andres Guagua Vasquez, in This poyect I'm alone.

Nikola Tesla was born in Serbia, He studied at the universities of Graz (Austria) and Prague. After having worked in several electrical industries in Paris and Budapest, he moved to the United States (1884), where he worked under Thomas A. Edison, then a supporter of continuous electric current.
It was a joke, a joke. Jacarandoso, Thomas Alva Edison received Nikola Tesla in his laboratory in New York one day in 1884. Tesla - born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, almost six feet tall, always combed in half, mustachioed - had arrived in the city from Paris, where he also worked as a technician for Edison, who at that time was recognized as an advance in the distribution of electricity. Tesla, however, had other ideas, other plans.
Enemistados by the scientific press, Edison and Tesla carried out in the early twentieth century the so-called "War of Currents", which faced their models of electric power transmission.
Tesla founded an electrotechnical research laboratory in New York, where he discovered the principle of the rotating magnetic field and the polyphase AC systems. He created the first electric induction motor of alternating current and many other electrical devices such as the Tesla assembly, a transformer of radiofrequency in which primary and secondary are tuned, useful in preselecting the input of a radio receiver. He predicted the possibility of making wireless communications ahead of the studies carried out by Marconi, and in his honor is called tesla to the unit of measurement of magnetic flux intensity in the international system.
Edison strove to convert the alternating current produced by his dynamos into direct current. Edison's solution involved "switches," brushes that allowed the current to flow only in one direction, but created inefficient friction and required frequent replacement.
Tesla generators did not require such a cumbersome approach. On the other hand, your system could "intensify" current to a higher voltage to transmit through long distances, and later, "reduce" the current to levels usable in homes and factories.
While Edison and others tried to tie the device inefficiently to direct current, Tesla revolutionized by adding a second circuit that "alternated" a phase current with the first, creating the prototype of its polyphase system.
The transformer, like the generator, was invented by Michael Faraday, but Tesla opened up its potential and in so doing, electricity was tapped for the arrival of the modern world.

Environment in Colombia and its impacto.
-
It is a reality that in Colombia, the environment it is very much against, since the individual good is sought, regardless of what is destroyed in its path, Colombia is an environmentally rich country, there is a diversity of fauna and flora and minerals , they make it a highly attractive country for foreign investment, but what happens in Colombia is the diversity that makes us unique in the middle of the world. The monetary factor are more important than caring for what we have as a country, despite the fact that certain crimes are defined to the environment and legally punishable, in Colombia only the 1% of crimes committed to the environment are prosecuted. , the remaining continue unpunished without even taking into account the damage that such a short term may not be seen but in the future it will be reflected to our society.
-
One of the crimes that most attract attention is the illegal exploitation of gold, because although it is an important resource for all of us as Colombians, the exploitation that is carried out only benefits the “guerrillas", these farms generate more than $ 2,000 million of annual dollars of losses to the Colombian economy, this exploitation contributes 4% to deforestation, which is also one of the crimes against the environment, is a crime that is seen mainly in cities such as: Caquetá, north of santander, chocó, meta, antioquia guaviare and putumayo, mainly for commercial purposes. This practice causes that the biodiversity get lost, affects climate change, and helps the loss of symbols and beliefs especially in indigenous communities. In fact, deforestation is a global problem, thus leading to a global climate change problem. making this crime something global and that actually affects the population.
-
Another of the main effects that is made to the environment by the poor practices of the community is the trafficking of wildlife, which has mainly been the loss of animal species that were only native to our country and is because to the ease that is had for the capture of these exotic animals, and then the easy commercialization of these, with this practice moves more than $ 25 million dollars per year, thanks to this practice in the last 40 years has generated a reduction of 52% of wildlife in Colombia, the purchase of these generate a greater income to the buyer, such as the golden frog, is one of the vertebrates that is most desired by drug traffickers becasue it poison that is very powerful and is used to kill and cause pain To terminal cancer patients, and most important a single drop of this poison on the black market could be costing $ 4 million; but as we said at the beginning the individualism that we live in Colombia we do not realize that with these bad activities we don´t only harm the environment but also the population, since many people depend on these resources for their survival as they are the indigenous communities. In fact if you do not realize that although these activities give money, in the future we lack these resources because we didn´t do with them an activity that would result in not only money, but the resource would be renewable, bad is not to use bad resources have a bad practice with them that lead to cease to exist in the future.
